I can see you're using the mobile phone app so I just practiced to check, lol.  Ok, here's the deal.  I'm on an iphone so not sure if it works exactly the same for you but basically If you touch on your post it brings up a box with the options to quote, edit,share, or more.   I'm not sure how long the edit option is there after posting.  I think eventually it will disappear to stop people saying things and then come back a day later and delete it all, leaving the thread not making any sense. 

If for any reason something happens like a post is duplicated multiple times and you can't edit it then shout up and a mod will spot it and delete the duplicate.  Same thing for threads too.
