Mollys Dad
I can't seem to stop Lattitude from running on my phone and it doesn't seem to have a 'deactivate' option. I'm not interested in sharing my location with people, but do sometimes use location based searches (cafe / dog friendly pub near me etc). I can shut it down via 'android assistant' but it restarts every time I use google maps / navigation. I did a quick google search for ideas but didn't get anywhere - any ideas? Mazz
Not much help, but on my HTC, I have to go into "settings" to turn the GPS off, then Lattitude won't run. Might try that and see if it works.

I always have gps off when I'm not using it so I guess that would stop lattitude from 'working' but doesn't stop it 'running' Galaxy S if that makes any difference
