Mazz
I would think at 15 weeks, you should be feeding a good quality puppy food, free of wheat, corn, and other grains, that has bout 30% protein. Of course, there are other nutrients needed, that are difficult to achieve without knowing what contains what. Nutrition is very critical during the first year of a dog's life. Not knowing what kind of meat, or what is in the biscuts, or what amounts are involved, it's hard to know if you are giving your dog the nutrition needed for proper development. Jamie_426
i have tried puppy food that the breeder gave me and different various one's they don't agree with him. i feed him 3 times a day that is nesseary for the dog to grow only thing that has really agreed with him is egg and lamb meat, i understand wheat and corn is not necessary as most of a dogs diet is protein based, e.g meat and since i gave him meat his poos harder and his coats shines and his grey coat is coming through, but there again im still trying to find a good biscuit, food ive tried various ones for strong breeds like the huskys and for puppy's they must be one out there that will go down well with a bit of meat,. Sarah
I feed my boys on Burns High Energy Lamb and alternate with raw chicken wings / ribs etc to make it more interesting for them. What kibble do you feed or what kibble have you tried?
