chris newbold Posted August 19, 2011 Report Share Posted August 19, 2011 Hi can anyone with a malamute tell me what colour their gums are supposed to be I am looking after my Sons malamute Dakota, I was watching a programme on tv and it said dogs gums should be pink if they are purple they may not be getting enough oxygen and could have a heart problem, Dakota's are very dark.. black even..
