Skyebear
Hello everyone, my name is Kristina and I have a 8 month old Siberian husky and she all of a sudden started panting excessively and now running in circles. Not sure what to do, my husband keeps giving her water but she doesn’t want to drink at all. Took her outside and see if she just wants to play and run around but did not work out either. She did ate her food this morning and having her water breaks. Went to the bathroom normally all morning as well. And she also won’t listen when we try to calm her down like hug her or kiss her but nothing works. Can someone help? Thank you so much
jenniferjohnn1218
Hello, I'm Jennifer, According to me, you should check for signs of distress or injury. Look for any visible injuries or signs of discomfort such as limping, swelling, or sensitivity when touched. If you notice anything unusual, it's best to contact your veterinarian immediately. lucifer34
Hi Kristina I am sorry to hear about your Husky's sudden behavior change. Since she is not responding to attempts to calm her down and is showing signs of discomfort, it is important to seek veterinary advice promptly.Excessive panting and running in circles could indicate a medical issue. Your vet can determine the cause and provide appropriate treatment. In the meantime, keep her comfortable and offer water regularly. Avoid strenuous activity and monitor her closely until you can get her to the vet.
Rambuddy
Hi, from the symptoms you specified it could be Anxiety, Outgoing Stimulation or a physical issue like a pain, or a neurological issue that your dog might be suffering from. Firstly, try to create a peaceful environment, limit noise and let her calm down. If you feel she is still overactive and distracted, then you should consult a vet for a follow-up examination immediately.
