there is a Formula 1 API that we could make use of... 

its just a GET request for example: 
 

 

"GET http://ergast.com/api/f1/current/last/results HTML v1.1"

 

this will get the latest results, but there are a number of different ones available. 

 

The following options are available:

Season List Race Schedule Race Results Qualifying Results Standings Driver Information Constructor Information Circuit Information Finishing Status Lap Times Pit Stops

you can even get an XML response and load it directly into the database and then report off it.... worth a mess around with.

yeah, there are a few ways to do it... Im starting to work on big data and more data visualization in work, so thats why it got me interested... could create a feed of #F1 comments off twitter or something

create a word cloud of the forum would be a good one mate, can then use it for searching and navigating around the forum
