Schnebly
A few days ago we took Maya to Petsmart to get her socialized with other people and dogs and on the way home i noticed some white flakes in her coat. I brushed her once I got home and got more flakes in the brush. Could they be stress related (shes very timid around other people), or something she got from one of the other dogs? Schnebly
No she was running around frantically at the store, i didn't notice her scratching at it... She had been chewing at her feet lately though. I'll try grooming her now
Susanna
Has she scratched herself or anything else? Cheytiella mites are very common with dog puppies. It is also known as walking dandruff due to skin scales being carried by the mites. It can look just like "white flakes" that you described. If there´s no mites, you can try to change her diet.
