magical Merlin
Hello, Got a question on breathing, Rosie seems to have trouble breathing. When she gets excited, eats and even for no reason when she is standing still. I've seen it alot in small dogs where they have a problem with the soft pallet but not in large breed dogs. She does the whole snorting thing and trys to breathe quickly. Anyone had this in large breed dogs before?
ocspirit
That is called a "reverse sneeze" and is exactly like the name implies. They are quickly pulling air into the lungs in the reverse order of a regular sneeze. If she is doing it a lot I would contact a vet about it. There could be something lodged that irritates her wind pipe.
