Kai

Hey all Just a quick update - We have someone local who we know from dog walking together (who also has a young Labrador) to take on Kai whilst my boyfriend is working his long shifts! I was blown away when she offred and always trying to think up new ways to thank her! We had a good discussion with her and her husband (both retired) and between us we seem to have our problem - I was discussing with you before - RESOVLED! Couldn't be happier we have a second change to really have a fantastic life with our girl. Thank you all for taking time and interest in suggesting your ideas for us! Lv Laura x x

That would solve everything but no unfortunately! He is based at Bulmer - at least an hours drive from where we live in Sunderland. Thanks for the suggestion We have tried everythiny; chatting to Husky organisations, our local vet, and dog shelters, looked into fostering. All of your posts are helping maybe we will find something! x

Hi Sarah - We're in Sunderland. We have looked into dog clubs and day minders but we do not currently have the finances to keep Kai in with something like that.

Hello everyone. We found our gorgeous girl in early March of this year and unfortunately our circumstances have recently changed in a manner that is proving incredibly difficult to continue to look after our girl as best as we'd love to. We have no problems and are perfectly happy whn we're at home with Kai. Once I leave for my semesters at University and my partener has his work commitments of 14hour shifts both day + night we become stuck! We have the very generous aid of a friend to walk her throughout these days but cannot rely on this completely. Ideally we're looking for someone/family to 'foster' Kai on the 4 days we so very much need it. We do not want to turn to our last option of rehoming Kai.. As I'm sure many of you would sympathise with - knowing how dedicated you are and how much love you have for your beautiful dogs. Can anyone help? Thank you! Laura

Name ideas.... When we were tryin to decide on a name for our young girl we took words that meant something to us or had something to do with what Huskies are famous for and put it into a translator for where they originated - Alaska/Siberia/Russia to see what came up. for us Kai is part of a phrase the Alaskans use to call Huskies 'snow dogs' Hope that helps.
