i already have POP and IMAP enabled in the gmail settings.

i think it is because all external emails are sent through port 25 by my ISP, and my ISP block port 25 so you are only able to use their email service which is stupid :angry:

Weird, don't know why an ISP would block that. But still, can't you use their mail server? I most cases you're allowed to set the from-address to whatever you want anyway, so you aren't restricted to just @gmail.com (in fact, you can even use ...@google.com if you want :lol:)
