Loki1172
I have a new husky puppy, he is 6 weeks old and the breeder gave him a dewormer shot the day we got him. He has had a solid stool a few times but mostly pudding like consistency. We got him on Sunday and it's been like that ever since. We have him on pro plan puppy food the chicken kind, the breeder recommended the venison blend because of allergies. Not too sure on what to do, if it's normal or not. Googled as much as I could and couldn't find a husky specific answer on what to do or a direction. We will be getting him in the vet in a week or two, just want some relief for him and possibly my carpet lol any help is appreciated, any recommendations will be considered. Thank you in advance! wolfpup
In a puppy this young the runs could be life threatening - mainly through dehydration. If your dog were mine - he would be at the vet now. 6 weeks is too young to be away from mum - surprised at your breeder. Why would they be talking about allergies in a dog so young? robke
agree 6 weeks is way to young needs to stay with mum for another 6 weeks unless there is a good medical reason for that, and yes I would be at the vet in a heartbeat and not wait even if it would need emergency vet... if the pup was older then i would say look at the amount of food intake in a 24hr period it could be to much which gives a runny stool as well...
