DogMarmots
I'm a new Husky owner and will eventually be taking my Siberian Husky for moderate to long winter hikes in Colorado. 6-8 hours out, 10 or more miles and at times getting to 13,000 - 14,000 ft. Does anyone recommend using booties for them? Any other helpful tips / thoughts for serious winter hiking are also appreciated!
Mollyhok
Well, husky has adapted nature dealing with cold temperatures, that`s why really - no useful, only if it will not be walking in icy weather and hurt itself. But! if you will be walking somewhere where rock salt or ice-melt solution is used - please wear the boots, both of you)
