We've picked a black and white girl and she is so so sweet and cute! We're thinking of naming her Eika...but will decide when we pick her up! Which will hopefully be around 27th March - depending on when she is definitely ready as she could be ready a week early, they're 3 weeks old and have started to take to proper food quite well. Bec Posted January 18, 2009 Report Share Posted January 18, 2009 How exciting!!! Elka is a really nice name too. Although I guess you need to wait and see if it matches your puppies personality! Even though it's really exciting I would definitely leave the pup with its litter mates and mum until 8 weeks, between 6-8 weeks pups get a lot of important socialisation and learn a lot of crucial doggy skills by spending time with their litter mates and mum (like bite inhibition). Which village? It's not Willingham is it? As we've seen someone walking a couple of Sibe's (may not be...could be malamute as driving in car normally so don't get a good look!) rose Posted January 18, 2009 Report Share Posted January 18, 2009 your baby may lose the dark areas below the eyes but you may be lucky & they may stay there, kavik had spectacles around his eyes as a young pup but these faded to white almost when older, is your pup blue eyed ?
