Devynthecatwithsocks Posted October 9, 2019 Report Share Posted October 9, 2019 Hi I have a 70 pound Husky/ Malamute and a 30 pound husky. How much should I be feeding them? I usually give Maximus (husky/mally) 2 cups a day and Leia 1 cup. My family believes they should be eating more, but I was told Max doesnt need anymore that about 780 calories (which for his food is about 2 cups). I am unsure how much food they should be eating. 2Huskyfun Posted October 11, 2019 Report Share Posted October 11, 2019 Does the vet say they are of good weight? How active are they? Do they have medical issues? Can you easily see or feel ribs? When they are standing, look straight down and see what their body shape is. There should be an hourglass shape. Best picture I could find. LOL My male is 60lb and gets the equivalent of (it’s winter here and their active level has doubled) 2 to 3 cups a day. My girl gets 2 cups.
