Adult Male - Random Potty in House

Our 7 year old male Siberian Husky decided about 1.5 months ago that he was going to randomly start going to the bathroom in the house (he did not go in the house at all before this). Luckily, he is keeping it confined to 1 section of our living room (the middle of it unfortunately), it is carpeted. We clean it thoroughly each time it happens (mixture of cleaning vinegar & water, soaked up w/paper towels & wet vac, then carpet shampooer, then pet enzyme spray to top it off). It happens at least once a week, sometimes more. There is no pattern, except it's when we are gone or over night when we are asleep (we shut our bedroom door). We can be gone for 2 hours, or 8 hours (for work).

He was crate trained as a puppy but hasn't been in a crate for at least 3 years now.

We have another male dog (both are fixed) who does not go to the bathroom in the house.

Any suggestions on how to get him to stop?!
