HowlingHusky
Hi everyone! I am a new husky owner, we recently rescued a lovely husky pup - we think she is about one year old. She is the sweetest thing and well mannered when people are around. However, when we leave the house she howls for hours on end. We've gotten her comfortable with a crate so we've begun putting her in there while we are at work - roughly 4 hours at a time. She is still super loud all day long to the point where the neighbors are leaving notes. This is only her 4th day being crated while we are at work, so I know it will take some time before she is adjusted. Does anyone have any tips on helping her feel more calm when we leave? We cover the crate, turn classical music on and have the tv on too.
robke
Try an old worn t shirt that you have had on for a while and leave that in the crate as well...it works for some...
