Hello,

I am new and was just wondering if this is normal. I have a husky that is about a year and a half. she is super sweet and loving. She loves being outside in the cold. But lately she has chunks of fur balls that just fall right off of her or even when you pet her. Is this normal?? This if my first husky and the vet said I should have no concerns about it and that it may be just a new under coat coming in. What do you all think?

Thanks in advance :)

Yep ours has been going since before Christmas. This morning on our walk I was clawing at her back legs pulling massive clumps off her. Unfortunately can't get to our groomer until end of February but try and rake her a bit at home

Yep! Mine would be sniffing a bush and I could reach down and just pull off a big handful of fur.
I actually got worried that he had some kind of disease!
But now it's stopped and he looks all sleek and nice again😀

I think some blows can be heavier than others...his last one was the worst yet!
