2Huskyfun
I went and took my pups into Animal Control to be license. All dogs at 6 months has to be here. While I was talking to some of my old coworkers, a man came walking down the hallway. This man locked eyes with my male pup and started talking to him as he got closer. In a weird way... *They guy stayed about 4 feet away* My pup flattened out and started a low growl then let out a couple of nasty barks. Everyone stopped and looked at me. My old Sgt. said that wasn’t very Husky like. Then my male started telling the guy off in a tone I have never heard him do. I was kinda proud. In my head going, ya that’s right back off dude, but then I was also going O crap! Is this something I should correct him on? I liked him letting me know he didn’t feel comfortable but I don’t want this turning into a thing when we are out and about.
chelseafan
Dogs growl out of fear, pain, territoriality and possession aggression, he prob sensed something off about the man and was warning him.
