Crate training

Hey guys I've got a 7 week old husky pup,he's amazing,I want to start crate training him ,I put him in the crate today and he slept for about 20 minutes,but then he started shouting and barking and wouldn't stop until I let him out , please help me out guys ,as I really want to crate train him .Thank you for your help in advance

Wait till he's quiet before letting him out , feed him his meals in there and treats , lots of praise when he's good and quiet also leave it open so he can go in and out as n when he wants so he sees it as a safe place

Start with just a few minutes and build the time up gradually, you could try putting a crate cover over it to make it into more of a den for him so he feels safe. I give mine a Kong each with a bit of peanut butter in when they go in their crates so they see going into their crate as a bit of a treat and it keeps them occupied

He barked and started howling really really loud......I waited for sometime for him to quiet down but he kept on barking ...I got scared and let him out...I don't want him to be terrified of the crate...I want it to be a positive experience for him..

I have covered the crate so he feels cozy....I started feeding his meals inside the crate itself..I should try the peanut butter and Kong..I'll let you know if it works.. Thank you for your help

Even if it's just 2 seconds of quiet that's when u let him out , I was crate training my girl and had to stand outside till she was quiet before I could come in lol
