New to the fourm

Recommended Posts

Well I've been a husky owner for 2 months now. I got my pup when she was 8 weeks old, and it's been a  challenging journey.

My gripe with her is she is a food theif lol.

DOG PROPERTY LAWS
1. If I like it, it's mine.
2. If it's in my mouth, it's mine.
3. If I can take it from you, it's mine.
4. If I had it a little while ago, it's mine.
5. If it's mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way.
6. If I'm chewing something up, all the pieces are mine.
7. If it just looks like mine, it's mine.
8. If I saw it first, it's mine.
9. If you are playing with something and you put it down, it automatically
becomes mine.
10. If it's broken, it's yours.

Odd question. How often does your husky pee? I find " Sky" can go up to 10 times a day.  Unfortunately, I'm unable to walk her so the mishaps happen at home.

Is it possible for you to put a leash on her, and walk her outside your house every 30-45mins to potty?? It doesn't have to be far...just close to your house. Tell her to "go potty." Then when she does, praise her saying, "good girl" and pet her. She will get potty trained within a few days. As she grows, her bladder will too so she'll be able to not go as often.
