LOL!![emoji23] It should be east ... whatever direction that is!! I mean, Earth rotates every 27days, so a true "direction" can't really be true!! Plus, how do we really know, right?!![emoji23]
Hey, read this ... this should help!!
(I understand this...No, I really don't LOL!![emoji23])
*(Today's ASTRONOMY CLASS so everyone keep on drinking!!🥃🥃🤣)
*THE MOON ORBITS THE EARTH*
The moon orbits the Earth once every27.322 days. It also takes approximately 27 days for the moon to rotate once on its axis. As a result, the moon does not seem to be spinning but appears to observers from Earth to be keeping almost perfectly still.

*EARTH's ROTATION*
"Then we divide the length of a day into the distance a point on the equator travels in that period: 40,075 km/23.93hours = 1,675 km/hour, 465 meters/second. The speed of the Earth's rotation changes as you go North or South away from the equator."

When I eventually saw the moon last night it was pretty much normal. [emoji53]
I was more impressed/worried last year when the sky suddenly went dark and bright orange in the middle of the day. Thought it was the apocalypse, lol. Turned out not to be quite so dramatic. Some dust from the dessert somewhere? Can’t remember exactly where it came from now 🤷‍♀️
