hannamarie
Is this zinc deficiency? Acne? Something else? What can I do? Should I be worried?
BingBlaze n Skyla
Looks like it could be zrd, he'll need a vet visit but you need to find a vet who knows sled dogs and knows what zrd is, someone recently just spent £300 on tests for their dog , the vet was adamant it isn't zrd but pretty sure it is Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app

chelseafan
A friend of mine has a year old husky who had a similar problem, he had other symptoms as well, fur loss on his nose, dull fur, lethargy, loss of appetite, generally unwell. She took him to the vet and they prescribed antibiotics and had no impact, she now uses Nutrazinc a supplement and it’s taken over a month but his furs growing back and he’s back to himself. The more symptoms the dog has his zinc deficiency is greater, I’d do as above and see a vet that understands ZRD, vet tests can be costly. Hope you get it sorted.Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners
ARMANI & ALINAH
@hannamarie ~ I would definitely take your baby to the Vet as the others have said. The area around the mouth doesn't look too bad, and good you caught this early as it has the potential to get worse. I hope your baby gets better soon.[emoji120][emoji252][emoji171]Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
