Pancreatitis is really uncomfortable for them.. My Eski was off colour after they both ate an nearly whole 8lb old Xmas fruit cake with marzipan & fondeau icing. I reckon she took first helping as she would over food.. and she had raised pancreatic levels. I was told to expect them in for five days.
Because I gave them a larger helping of Kefir as soon as I knew about the cake - next day.. this prompted a bout vomitingcand evacuation and emptied them fast.. vet reckoned that's what got them home within 30 hours...
Kefir has been found to stabilise insulin levels in pancreas upsets.. where diabetes may be an issue or early cause.... not saying this is in Amy's case...
I do hope She's feeling better soon and back home.

I second kefir.   Lunar will drink the fizzy milk  - but Marley will not  so I make kefir cheese out of the milk.   Just remove the grains as though you are making kefir milk - then pour into another jar and leave to referment until the whey settles out of the milk (takes a couple of days at our house temperature) then put the whole lot through a coffee filter, and put into the fridge overnight - the whey comes out through the filter and leaves a soft cheese in the filter paper by the next morning.  That's all there is to it.

My two get some everyday with their meal.

So glad she is home and getting all the love and fuss she needs
