Iffriku
Hi this is my first husky and im concerned if she's not growing right. She's almost 5 months old and she seems a lot smaller than other huskies I've seen. She's gets fed 3 times a day and is about 20 lbs Hi Itsonlyanna96, as long as the vet is satisfied she's healthy, then there is nothing to worry about [emoji4] my Ghost is of a petite size, she's just turned a year and 2 months and is 17 kilos (about 37lbs). When she was 5 months old she weighed 11.4 kilos (around 25lbs). Ghost's dad was an absolute bear of a husky, but her mum was very small also. There is also a 10 year old husky that lives near me who I see regularly who actually the same size as Ghost anyway. Only fur makes her bigger [emoji23] . As I say, as long as she isn't super bony, and the vet isn't concerned she's underweight, she'll just be a bit smaller. Hope this helps [emoji4] [emoji5] Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
BingBlaze n Skyla
Depending on her breeding she could just be naturally small Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
Markie
I'm going to say she is just smaller in size. She looks wonderful. [emoji4]Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
ARMANI & ALINAH
@ItsOnlyAnna96 ~ I think she is about right for 5mths old or a few lbs lighter. Just give her "lots of protein" from a good quality puppy dry food (if you are feeding dry). The protein will give her great muscle tone & strong bones, and may help her grow a little more in height. She'll still grow & fill out up to about a year & a half.(I still have both my Huskies on PUPPY FOOD and they are ages 22months and 14months. I also give them Peanut Butter...they love it, but I don't give much or they'll get the runs. The 22mth old I believe has stopped growing and mostly filled out. My 14mth old is beginning to fill out a little.)[emoji847][emoji171][emoji252]WELCOME ABOARD [emoji252][emoji171][emoji847]Sent from my [device_name] using http://Husky Owners mobile app
