Recommended Posts

I have five kids staying in my house. Mom had surgery and the foster kids came to me. So now I have my little sister who is 8. 8 year old boy, 7 year old girl, 3 year old girl, and a 2 year old girl.
How in the world do you keep your head on straight? Im extremely overwhelmed I raise huskies not children. I have them for a month.
The pictures are my sister. [emoji2]f8601c9b50abb5e991a265603470d4f5.jpg&key=de028f0dd37a5628dec20846fc66d6ffa933c60906b701334c230d1af15a85e0241490413a43dec296fa4795fdd1a3c9.jpg&key=df3a0e8b443c851e174b263809d9d439f9e0d8510bb3dab5f3485b20321e03ee

Oh goodness!! Just try to take 10minutes to yourself here & there...it can be done. It's great you guys are taking the kids in for a month. Your place is like a zoo literally, with Huskies, Puppies, Kitties, Horses, etc. They will love it!! Try not to stress and you'll be fine!!

Yeah trying to be good lol [emoji4] it's unfortunate that I have to keep them all separated especially the older two from my sister. Which makes it ten times harder. If I flip out and just go crazy you know why lol [emoji23]

I worked in a nursery for many years and I can tell you that it’s very rewarding but also very hard work!
Your life will be turned upside down at first but you’ll find things fall into place as you all get into a routine. You’ll be fine. [emoji3]

Need to get into place soon lol I'm giving it three more days to get the picture before they go on the wall. Abbigail had a fit today and the two little ones where well two little kids( I'm going to need a padded room in a month lol).

I'm so sorry about you. I can perfectly understand how complicated it is to take care of so many children simultaneously, considering that each of them needs your attention and time. I was in your situation for a while, too. My mother and her sister went to sea, leaving me with my 5-year-old sister, my 10-year-old, and my 3-year-old cousins. I thought I was going crazy. I read on a forum the concept of open-ended games. It sounds interesting. So I decided to visit a park to try and implement this concept. I noticed that the children were getting closer. They all started spending more time together, allowing me to rest sometimes.

Yes, I would say that with 5 children, it is difficult, plus it is an old age for them to be able to educate them again, but that is their essence. They are children who need help, and the attention given to them matters a lot, yet they are children. I have one foster child, and I wouldn't say that I have many problems. I have a 6-year-old girl. My husband and I just looked for many details about this thing to finally be helped by Foster Plus. She is very nice and polite. I'm proud of them! The big one started frequenting the school, and she is very excited!
