Kyrawr19
My 10 week old husky puppy gets hiccups every single time he eats even if it’s just a small treat when he’s good during training. He doesn’t eat overly fast or anything. I was just wondering if I should be concerned or should be doing anything else to prevent this. Markie
He could be taking down air at the same time he his eating and That's creating the hiccup. He is breathing down air at the same time as eating. I don't know the cure for it but I do know they get hiccups just like we do and that's how we do. We try breathing and eating at the same time and here comes the hiccups. Lol [emoji2]Sent from my Pixel using Husky Owners mobile app

ARMANI & ALINAH
My ARMANI got hiccups alot as a puppy...they just happen to pups alot. It's funny because last night, ARMANI got hiccups!! I just pat him on the back above his shoulders and they go away. (Kind of like babies who need burped etc.)[emoji252][emoji171][emoji16]~ANGIE, ARMANI & ALINAH~
Huskys At Play
Hiccups are nothing to be concerned about, he should outgrow it. If you want, you can try stroking his neck to get him to relax. This may encourage his valve to properly close quicker to stop the hiccups. Enjoy your puppy! That is such a fun age to start teaching them things.
