I'm Jennifer and this weekend we got a Husky pup. The original owner couldn't keep him and asked her friend to help her find him a home and our home it is. He's supposed to be pure bred however he's a big boy and his ears are all floppy, lol.

He was born August 10 so that makes him 9 1/2 weeks. His fur is a beautiful red brown. He's already crate trained and we are continuing her work with the potty training. Some days good, some are cleaning up some spots.

I'd love to have your thoughts on his ears and if you think he might really be mixed. If so, with what?? It took over 24 hours and many trials to find the right name for him.

This is our Scout. He's the third member of the pack. :)

Welcome to the pack , it can take a while for the ears to stand up , and even then once they've stood up when the pup teethes they can flop again for a bit , don't play with them as this softens the cartilage and they might stand up in time

Thank you all. We will be more mindful to not mess with his ears. We all pet them on the heads and rub their ears.

He chews on everything. Has he started teething?

They don't teeth till around 3-4 months old but like babies investigate everything with their mouths

*WELCOME JENNIFER & SCOUT*

Aww, your new SCOUT Baby is gorgeous!! He looks mostly Husky to me. If he does have any mix, he may have some Chocolate Labrador in him due to his eye coloring and ears. They may stand but it's still early. LOVE those big ears!![emoji171]7d2bae6799e66d9fecea18b931a08213.jpg
