Emma
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-39409313 They kind of look weird, think i'm going to get them confused with the £2 coins at first glance and get excited thinking I have more money than I actually do, lol. I still get excited when I see the new plastic £5 notes, I'm easily pleased!
robke
will have to look if we still have some 'old' coins so that we at least use them before they cannot be used anymore...
Emma
That makes good sense. By October they'll be obsolete. So only one husky camp to use them in. Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app

Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app Ooh good question I hadn't thought of that. I know they mentioned vending machines which is pretty much the same concept but were quite vague on the timescale. So in other words I guess they don't know either. Rachael_Astro
That's a good question about trollies! I've got a Wales flag shaped as a pound coin which I use for trollies, looks like I'll have to get a new one Sent from my iPhone using Husky Owners mobile app

Emma
Pretty much all our supermarkets still use the pound coins trolleys too. Not sure about the posh supermarkets like Waitrose though as I don't go there. But the usual suspects all do. Knowing what my town can be like, tbh I'm not surprised. This has nothing to do with pound coins but when I was a kid and sulked, I refused to talk. Mum always said "oh, I've been sent to Coventry have I?" No idea why or where that phrase came from but always did make me wonder what goes on in Coventry, lol.
