Mazz Posted October 22, 2015 Report Share Posted October 22, 2015 (edited) Zoya, in case you were not around last winter, tore her cruciate ligament in her right rear leg. It was a complete tear, and she underwent surgery about mid-January. The recovery was several months, but she eventually was back to normal, until this morning. This morning she got up from laying with a cry of pain. Her right rear leg upheld as she hobbled on three legs down the hall. Her annual check with the vet is this Saturday. I called this morning, and they are booked, so will be giving Zoya, Rimadyl to ease the pain. Hope the surgery did not fail on her. Everything was normal when she went to sleep last night. Maybe she over did something yesterday, and it finally caught up with her. Will know more on Saturday. Zoya could use some Husky Hugs in the meantime. Mazz Posted October 22, 2015 Author Report Share Posted October 22, 2015 Just got off the phone with the vet who did the surgery. He said often times, they over do things and the joint becomes overly tender. A few days of Rimadyl and rest, and things return to normal. Hope that is the case.
