It is also a time when Huskies who have passed, are honored by their Earthly caretakers with the lighting of a candle at 8:00 pm local time. This is done across the globe, so there is light to honor those beloved Huskies for a full 24 hours. If you have not suffered the loss of a beloved Husky, light a candle of hope - hope not only for your pack, but for packs all around the World.
