Nice pack Paul.

I have a white German Shepherd "Echo" she's 7 and a half.

She a fantastic family friend

Just not so friendly to strangers.

She protects her pack.

and she loves chasing and bringing back her solid rubber balls

She'll do that until she can't run.

She was a rescue when I got her she bit me a warning nip not the I want to kill you bite

I got her home and in the space of a few hours she went from being scared stiff to snuggling

on the couch. She took a few days to get used to my old boy the dog sniffing her she looks like

she is either about to leg it or bite him was taken about 2 hours after we got home.

she came from a bad situation and in the house she is ok adores me. guests well ignore her and in

a short time she will come over sniff walk away. come back and end up sitting laying on you wanting

strokes.

if you meet her out on a walk forget it she will have your hand off.

my boy shep enjoys cuddles it loud and gobby but wouldn't hurt anyone unless they tried to hurt me

Their Lovely, I have a real soft spot for the German Shepherds. :D

So do I, I got my first shepherd when I was about 12 in a round about way.

A family friend had a shep bitch that she got from police had been obedience trained but was to soft to

be a police dog. Sit heel you name it she was brilliant at it but they had washed her out from going on

further in police training. she had the dog for about a year when one day she got a phone call

Her parents who were on holiday in Africa, her father had collapsed and had a very serious stroke, and

she had to fly out to be with her mother. She booked flight tossed clothing out the washer into case

still dripping. Couldn't find a kennels for the dog so she dropped her off at our farm.

Thankfully her dad did recover but it was over a month before he was able to fly home, in the time she

was away the dog became my shadow slept in my room during the school holidays.

She came back collected her dog and it sat at her hoke whining an howling sulking wouldn't eat after about

a week she came down to visit us planning to go horse ridding with my mother. the dog saw me as she came

down our drive leapt from the back seat of the car onto the passenger seat took out the window and charged

down the drive and went nuts barking licking me and dancing around me.

That night I had my own dog, was nice as she wouldn't let my older brother pick on me she just used to give

him the eye and that lifting of the lip quiet growl.

I had her for 10 years and she went everywhere with me. Had a soft spot for them for ever after that
