Clare70
Last night I was channel hopping when I saw a programme was on about Alaska. Sadly it was the last one of 3 episodes but was really good. There was a brief bit about a guy who had lived in Alaska for the past 8 years, living off the land etc and he had 4 huskies, though the narrator called them Alaskan huskies and the guy worked them. Was lovely to see them running across the snow pulling a sled. Did anyone else see it?

jmscott
· Hidden Hidden Husky only means sled dog, not any particular breed. A lot of mushers use alaskans. I've a friend with Iditarod Alaskans and for most they could pass for Sibes. Link to comment
Clare70
There's not a huge difference between my Sibe and Mal as Harry is on the large side for a Sibe and Maiya is average for a Mal. The dogs on the programme only featured for a few minutes but was well worth watching
