Emma
My sister's beagle Budha is at the vets because earlier on today he got his leg stuck in between the slats on a bench and ended up breaking his leg. [emoji19] He's been xrayed and is staying in the vets for a couple of days as they'll be putting in a metal plate I think.....my dad told me the story, can't get hold of my little sis. Here's hoping he gets well soon, he's only little, bless him.

robke
makes is worse and a wee bit better ... recovery will hopefully be quicker then...
Emma
Hope so. My biggest concern for him is that he's really bouncy and hyper like a typical pup. Unlikely he's going to take it easy whilst his leg is healing up.

robke
that indeed is always the biggest worry with any dog...keep them rested and not hyper...
Emma
Spoke to my sister, she's in a bit of a state understandably and not talking too much sense (to be fair she doesn't talk much sense at the best of times) but I managed to work out that he's being kept in tonight and having an operation tomorrow morning to put pins into his leg. He's got a break right in the middle of his Tibia/Fibia I forgot which one.... (they're both the long thin bones in the lower leg).
robke
At least it is n the middle of the bone that is why they will pin it...
