Martian
All, Apologies for the delay in posting but please follow this link to see my pictures: - https://www.dropbox.com/sh/f5iit54ogr2ve7h/AAC_M71N-ZzJg4OuF7UQiPV4a?dl=0 Unfortunately I only have a modest setup, (camera and lenses), hence the rather small images of the two airbourne Lancaster's although I must also state that I don't profess to be anything other than a very basic amateur photographer! Robke, I suspect that there are still a high number of aircraft, (from all sides), lying where they fell and they all serve as a testament to those who gave their lives for their respective countries. I still find it hard to believe that very young men flew the larger aircraft hundreds of miles with the most primative navigation aids and sometimes in the most appalling weather. Respect to them all.

Markulous
Some nice shots there. IIRC, they're the last two Lancasters flying - one from our own Memorial Flight and the other Canadian. We caught them on our Husky walk as they based themselves at Blackpool Airport and we were walking at St Anne's - so the Lancasters and Red Arrows flew over to land. Only had my smaller lenses for the dog walk but fired off a couple of shots in the evening light and of the Red Arrows Here's a few of the people on our walk with some Army training helicopter flying back to land
Martian
Mark, you have also done well with your photos! And you are 'one up' on me as you were with a group of fellow Husky owners whilst witnessing the Lancasters flying over! I got a tad closer to the Red Arrows when I was last flying, (I had to give way to them)!
Elyse
Wonderful, I love the pictures and the videos! Here's hoping VERA and PA474 remain airworthy for years to come!
