I think all of the dogs in the "Will of Iron" category deserve credit where it's due, they've all had some really tragic events in their lives and to come through at all is nothing short of miraculous! I looked at the rest of the categories and Emily and Miles are head and shoulders above the rest ... if you haven't voted for her yet, please do. I voted from here (my laptop), and then my phone, my brother's BlackBerry, my brother's iPhone, my brother's Macbook, my brother's PC (gosh he has a mountain of gadgets) and my dad's PC. They have a Facebook page with quite a bit of information about Emily that isn't in the Karoo write up. This note, the day after she was picked up actually got a chuckle out of me: TEAM EMILY UPDATE: Joanne Van Niekerk & Abigail Strachan have just been to visit Emily and some good news: she is sitting up and actually snapped at the vet so she is stronger but these are early days. Her test for distemper and tick bite fever came back negative. There are still maggots dying everywhere and she still is weak and in a serious condition. Thank you for all the support!! And if this also works right, here's a picture of her and Ian just a very few days later. #TeamEmily Emily enjoying some fresh air, she is very weak and anaemic but she is hanging on and as determined as ever. Keep going girl, nearly there. He sorta looks like a 'Jones' just doesn't seem to have as much hair. Okay, Cindy have I given you enough to get you to drop him / them a line and get them on the forum??? I don't know about SA, but us Jones' get to be a bit cantankerous at times. Actually I'd like to see the rest of the Husky Rescue crew (and the adoptive parents) come take a talk with us. I'm gonna find more gadgets to vote from then Following your lead I realized I can vote from my tower, my laptop and my tablet ... I can't think of any reason we can't keep her on top!
