My ideal behind the site is this: Twitch/UStream/[name streaming site] allows people from all over the world to watch video games at any given time. An event like a championship for a game brings tens of thousands of people all together at once, but after the event is over, they all disperse. My goal/vision is to create a centralized location for streamers/stream viewers to discussion, be feature, and hopefully help sponsor people to go compete in tournaments and chase their dreams of playing competitively. Right now I've sank about a few months and a lot of money to get this rollin'. I used a framework from a compilation of other sites to get where I'm at. Right now I'm trying to teach myself coding(which is a bit of a struggle to teach yourself from nothing) so that I can give my site nifty features like embedded streams from the twitch.tv site. I'm also working on trying to get a homepage for my site that can redirect to the forums, which is all that I have right now. This is just a side thing for me to do, but it is a passion. If anyone has any experience in IP.Board, I'd love to pick your brain or bring you on board for the ride. Thoughts? I was hoping anyone who's interested in gaming could signup and register for my friend's website.
