Dunc
My guess and thats all it can be is its going to have to be fixed Most cameras have a factory reset try that if it does not sort it take it back
BingBlaze n Skyla
lines seem to have gone (for now) but pics are still purple :/
BingBlaze n Skyla
Gonna send it off for repairs tomorrow :-( my poor camera , good thing it's only 5 months old lol
winterchillz
Probably the lens messed up or something but since you bought it recently, they should fix it right the way and for free imo.
Elyse
Are the pictures purple only on the camera screen? Or are they purple when you upload them to the computer as well?

Elyse
Hm....I'm thinking its probably a camera sensor problem. May be white balance, too (its a setting on the camera), but that depends on how much purple the pictures are.
BingBlaze n Skyla
I had a look at the white balance n played about with that n it didn't really help

BlueWolf
Sounds like a sensor problem. My parents had the same issue with their old camera. After a few months after buying it a weird noise pattern/lines started to show on every photo they made. They brought it back and they had it repaired in just a few days. Believe it was a production fault actually.
BingBlaze n Skyla
Ok so they fixed it all up , just waiting for them to dispatch it back now :-)

winterchillz
Sound like a "motherboard" to me. Now, grab the pack and go out to test it! And don't forget to share the photos after that!
