Mistyrayn Posted January 2, 2009 Report Share Posted January 2, 2009 normall on Sunday we take both girls and the sheltie to a forest reserve in Kent... start out trying to remember where car is parked but normally lose all sense of direction and maybe 3 hrs or so later we might find the car.. so god knows how far we do cover .. but the dogs love it .. the wife gets knackered ... and me " well i get a quite Sunday evening" Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

siberian_wolf Posted January 3, 2009 Report Share Posted January 3, 2009 the longest ever walk we have taken our 3 on was on Christmas day when we walked for about 12 miles or more (They were shattered)! But on average they get at least 3 miles a day and every Sunday they walk about 7 miles whilst in the New Forest and then I walk them for about 30mins around the block about an hour before they go to bed to help them sleep at night, otherwise they will keep waking up - we do that every night (apart from Christmas day as they were completely shattered!).
