A couple of useful things for next year's camp (North/South UK) - please read!

Recommended Posts

As much as I loved camp (S), there are a couple of things that I really wish I'd had in place a couple of weeks before.

The trauma of going to camp was so bad that I had a bad dream a few days beforehand: Moll's dad and I decided to get married - at camp!!:nooo: , and Timber was the 'Best Man' - complete with dickie bow tie. :redface1:

There was obviously a lot on my mind, but a couple of things that rested it were as follows:

1. Stake out lines...with 3 dogs, this was a constant worry. However, Moll's dad and I sorted the whole thing for less than £40.00 - and within our own street! There is a steel works place/workshop 2 doors down from us and he made us 3 mooring stakes for £8.00 each! The rest we got from Screwfix across the road.:)

2. A decent sleeping bag - couldn't be sorted at the time, but we have one now:

These are wicked! Especially if, like me, you don't actually want to get out of your sleeping bag all day. You can turn these things into a coat.:D

If anyone wants mooring stakes, let me know. ;)

those sleeping bags look great!!

Tie outs are brilliant for camp - or walking belts / crates - the dogs need a rest like we do - at night my boys were crated and slept after all the walking and running lol
