Today we went to a reunion up at the breeders. It was a make-up one from the one I missed so not many people were there, but it was nice to see all the huskies again. Sharing a couple pics that the breeders took ;]

Thanks Vlad! And jm, her mom is 3 or 4, If I remember correctly she is 3 and turning 4 this November. She's definitely one of the flatter coated huskies there, here's a picture of Yuki's father if anyone was interested. He is 4 this November as well.

  • 2 weeks later...

So a little update on Yuki and Cloud. Yuki is 13 weeks old today, Cloud turned 7 months last week. They both went to a pet sitter today that I am going to go to twice maybe three times a week. She is $30 per day, but its totally worth it. Her husband is there all morning when she is at work, and he doesn't go out to work until either the wife or high school kids are home, so there's always an actual person there to watch the dogs. The sitters also have four of their own dogs, including one 3 month puppy that Yuki hit it off with today! They're also boarding a chocolate lab but thats their biggest dog so I'm not sure if we'll still be able to go to the pet sitter once Yuki's big and starts bullying all the small ones... XD Apparently Cloud was friendly with everyone but Yuki didn't socialize with the people at ALL, so this will definitely be a great experience for her to be around people in a safe environment, plus it definitely takes the worries off my mind knowing that they are being cared for while I work my 9 hour shifts :) They were also VERY tired when I got home, maybe I can sleep tonight? Lol

Glad to hear things are working out with them. If she grows up with the small dogs she may not bully them at all. My boy Kuma is two years and even though wasn't raised with small dogs has lived with Tenchi my pekingese since we brought him home at 5 months and Kuma was approx a year and a half. They get along great, play all the time and if anything Tanchi bullies Kuma lol.
