He was still a wonderful boy and patriarch to his family. Our girls were the last litter to get to enjoy Grandpa Drifter, who always adored his puppies and loved playing nanny to them. My Ryn was fortunate to have her grandfather "Shadow" for a while as a pup....he taught her much including dignity. Their lessons are so valuable to pups. My heart breaks for you.
