Hey everybody! Just wanted to drop in and say hi to the people on this forum. Been lurking for a bit now and decided it was time to show our new pup.

Its our first own dog, but we both grew up having multiple dogs in the process. So after a discussion of about 5 minutes we decided we both wanted to have a Husky. The breed is really attractive to us and we've both wanted one for a few years now.

So after a little browsing online about the pro's and con's we still wanted one and we found our little pup called Noa. Her mother is a Siberian Husky and her dad is a Alaska Malamute. She was born on the 2nd of January this year and we're picking her up in March. She's chipped, vet-checked and TO adorable for word.

So without further ado....

That might not be a bad idea. You're really just half an hour away. Where do you go for long walks etc?

Most long walks are done in in and near Alkmaar. 't Geesterambacht (the lake to the north of Alkmaar) is also a good 1.5 hour walk and sometimes we just go to the beach (Egmond aan zee). Though probably not areas that are quite near you.

Well after almost a week it seems like she's kind of settling down. The peeing inside is getting much less ( only 2 or 3 times a day average ). She's doing her business outside mostly so all good. She sleeps in a bench next to our bed now so she sleeps trough aswell. Only have to wake her up once at 4 am and most of the time she doesnt even pee then. So all good. Next step for that is moving the bench further away from our bed.

Also she's learning quite fast. She sits at every sidewalk, every door. Learning her to lay down, stay etc... She's not perfect yet but she's getting there... Also went to the vet for her second serie of shots and got her worm stuff. She does have a bit of worms now I noticed so I gave it to her right away. Should be gone after a few days right?

Today we had our first puppy training and she did great. Played a lot, got some pointers and we got home work for next week. After that we went to my parents so she was knackered when she came home. Slept for 2 hours and been chewing on a bone now for half an hour. Almost time for supper! Will see if I can shoot some more pics tomorrow.
