Elyse
I'm obsessed with werewolf books, atm...so if anyone finds a good one (and, I'm talking about the horror ones...not the stupid Twilight-like ones.) then let me know! Have you read anything by Alice Borchardt? She's Anne Rice's (she wrote some famous vampire books) sister. I'd read several of hers, and liked them... Tams Teeko and Keeta
Horror wise, i'm afraid I still have a soft spot for James Herbert....but that may be because my dad gave me one to read when I was 13 lol!
Elyse
Give Kelley Armstrong A try start with Bitten Thanks for that, but I already read Armstrong's series...as well as the Kitty Norville series, as well as the books by Karen Mac-Inerney, and many others that I can't think of right now.... Karren
Oo try Patricia Briggs - the Mercy Thompson books (She is a coyote shifter) - Moon Called, Blood Bound, Iron Kissed, Bone Crossed, Silver Bourne and River Marked. And the Werewolf books by same author that also connect to Mercy Thompson books - Alpha and Omega books – Cry Wolf and Hunting Ground. They are under the heading Urban Fantasy and do have a bit of romance in but I enjoyed reading them.

Karin Slaughter Kathy Reichs Patricia Cornwell Happy reading Finished DéjàDead and half way though Death Du Jour Tempe Brennan is cool
Rosemary
That's fast reading Glad you like her too - Kathy Reichs' books are great because she knows what she is writing about. She is a practicing forensic anthropologist "in her real life" - great stuff
