Also hamsters aren't as nice as rats. Hamsters tend to be quite nippy and temperamental unless handled on a daily bases. Rats rarely bite unless they are just scared, bread poorly, or haven't be handled at all. My 2 rats are dumbo rats, they have bigger ears that set lower than other rats. Shinobi is a russian blue dumbo with silver flecks and I believe berkshire markings (white on his belly). Kabuki is a white dumbo rat with a powder blue cape and a white blaze.
