Sqwidge
I'm really sad we won't be able to make it - Eika doesn't howl and even with the distance if I could have I still would have come up to pay my respects. I will wear something Disney on the day xx

StaceyMae
I've just had a text & phone call from Katy's Mum Paula, asking if we could have LOTS of Huskies attend her Funeral and also that we can get them to howl at the graveside. I posted on a different thread but was not sure who to ask, I thought it would be nice if those of us who can't attend send you or Paula videos of our pups howling (or trying to) Would it be possible to play the videos? I've got a fair few of Sheldon giving it a pretty good go Just an idea

Val (Zebedee)
true, the dogs would get bored throughout the service outside. Pete - is there a park nearby we can maybe wait at the church to see the family go inside, walk the dogs for the hour then make our way to the cemetery for the interment? Mark-Akasha-Kenzo
another somewhat unusual question.... ive never attended any funeral with a dog for 1, and for 2.... would casual wear ie good jeans etc be acceptable? i wouldnt want to appear disrespectful... but a suit/dogs doesnt work for me.... stormchaser09
I would imagine the family would like people to wear something colourful - I think a disney theme was mentioned so perhaps a disney tee shirt or something.
Marley & Lumikkis Mummy
Im going to be wearing black trousers or leggings and a disney top of some sort, bit difficult for men but what about trousers or black jeans ?
Val (Zebedee)
to be honest, with it being for a child, the more colourful & uplifting the better, at the family's request, so jeans etc I would say is more than acceptable

Mark-Akasha-Kenzo
just remember you will be outside and probably get pretty cold.... so disney t-shirts etc could probably ( if big enough) be worn over the top of your husky-hoodies or something else that will keep you warm.. Tams Teeko and Keeta
Would it be appropriate to send a condolences card? If so, anyone going with an address that I could send to. If anyone doesn't think it'd be okay...thats fine.
