a question for any1 who knows laptops

Recommended Posts

according to my pc clever son, he thinks it may be 1 of 3 things: thermal paste needs replacing (pref take to a pc shop); fan poss clogged with dust, etc; or is old & needs a laptop cooler (approx 20). He asked are you using it on a soft surface (on a bed, for example)?

Nature of laptops unfortunatly... It is most likely that either you are blocking the airflow in some way (having it on your knee, on bed etc etc) or that the inside is full of dust and stuff. Could be the cpu but very unlikely to be honest.

You definateley wanna get yourself a laptop cooler if this is happening all the time. Have a look on ebuyer, aria and the likes for these (google em :) ) ...
