I don't do Raids, never really have done groups, I don't have a guild and I've done 5 dungeons that are low enough I feel safe doing them. I don't play WoW for others or all the "OMGSPECIAL" stuff really, I play for me. I want an achievement or something, I try for it. But I'm looking forward to the new expansion. I wanna play a Monk! jess86 Posted November 23, 2011 Report Share Posted November 23, 2011 I don't do it for the omgspecial stuff either, I play it because I enjoy it and it's a nice break from my kids, I'm pretty much doing what your doing now, currently at level 60 seeing as i had to start over damn hackers. I enjoy soloing, and so far with this character i haven't done anything in a group at all, I also cheated and had my brother run me through a dungeon or two just to get some quests out of the way and to upgrade my gear which was desperately needed. (doesn't count as a group cause it was only one person ) I do enjoy grouping up with random people because you get to meet some nice people to talk to, on the odd occasion there is the douche bag hanging around which sucks. I really don't know anything about the new expansion apart from the name, I figure I'll learn about it when it does come out! I just want to be prepared and have a high level already so that I'm not left behind again lol! achievement's are fun aren't they? I plan to do Outland next, although I REALLY want a Drake of some kind, I just hate that it takes for darn ever! I might try and get a Phoenix Mount, too. Yesterday when I logged in someone said Deathwing was in the Wetlands and I went to go get my "Stood in the Fire" Achievement. I really wanted to die, darnit! jess86 Posted November 23, 2011 Report Share Posted November 23, 2011 ha ha i got 'stood in the fire and lived' by accident, everything just burst into flames and I had NO idea what the hell was going on! I thought the game broke on me lol! then i saw Deathwing flying off into the distant. that was the first time I saw him...after that i got to punch him in the face for a quest I did in the eastern kingdom somewhere, one of the desert places...bad lands maybe? can't quite remember lol. I have no interest in the flying mounts just atm, being a drood i have flight form so that will do for me for now, besides I also have one of those celestial steeds due to my brother purchasing a special addition of one of the expansions, so im pretty much covered in the respect...although I wouldn't mind one of those two man rocket things, one of my friends escorted me through a few places via one of those and tis was awesome fun . oh and BTW you don't actually have to die in the fire, unless of course there is more than one achievement for that? No your not crazy that sounds right. I play WoW for myself now I use to raid hardcore in BC and then kinda but not so much in Wrath. My b/f is one of those hardcore raiders who gets relm firsts he was in Blood Legion for a long time they were 6th in the us and 8th in the world ranked or something during BC and they were at blizzcon this year and they won the live raid. Hes not as hardcore as he use to be then but he still gets relm firsts and is in the best guild on his server. I usually just skip group quests are you using the anniversary 7% experience thinger?
