Before I joined this site I thought I am very knowledgeable about dog breeds but after I came to this site--especially after this thread was invented--I realize that I only know a handful of dog breeds and I don't even know what is the breed that @Michelle Melsom aiming for LOL Clue number one and two made me think of a husky and native Japanese breeds, but then you say the breed originate in Holland x) After I expanded the search to every Arctic dog you pointed-out that it was a herding dog : Edit: I asked Mr.Wikipedia and he said Dutch Shepherd Dog.
