Kirbysowner
So kirby is showing signs of ZRD and i was wondering what the best options are. mind you I want to stay away from vitamins and medications and want to tackle this naturally since it is mild zrd. So far I have the options of feeding piece of liver every day (but how much and what kind of liver would be best?) Also, if I choose liver feeding, do I need to supplement it with vit a? if so, what is the best source for dogs? Also, has anyone tried sardines and/or cod liver oil? Anne
You give one small cube of ox s liver per day along with normal feeding ,I give mine dried powered Kelp a natural suppliment great for ZRD it s great for boosting the immune system, kills bacteria and is full of calcium I add a small amount to their feed ,I also used chelated zinc suppliments, hope this helps a bit
