BingBlaze n Skyla
i have these leads - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Police-Style-Training-Double-Ended-Dog-Lead-Strong-Clip-/280609002313?pt=UK_Pet_Supplies_Dogs&hash=item4155999349
meeshsalts
I think you will be best with a walking belt which will not dig in like a lead will tied around your waist.
siberian_wolf
Not so sure about hands free leads but a walking belt would be a good option for you to consider if you going to be running. I use mine for running and also if we go for a long hike. Ever so comfortable and they also have a slight bungee to them which can help a little to those big jolts! I got mine from Kisi canine: http://www.kisi.co.uk/walkingbelts.php they aint the cheapest but really good quality other places you can go are ebay and these sites: http://www.snowpawstore.com/dog-walking/dog-walking-belts.html http://www.google.co.uk/products?hl=en&rlz=1R2SUNA_enGB338&q=Dog+walking+belt&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=_-4-Tdi7CJSyhAfAua3TCg&sa=X&oi=product_result_group&ct=title&resnum=1&ved=0CDIQrQQwAA http://www.culpeppers.co.uk/catalogue/?cat=backpacksandbags
BingBlaze n Skyla
i used my lead on blaze whilst running - and he only pulled for the first few mins which hurt abit but once he started jogging next to me i was fine - it only hurts if they PULL ive walked skyla with her lead round my waist with no discomfort
Staceybob
Assuming you mean one of these.. Ezydog do them or you can get them Ebay/Amazon. I got mine from Lidl about 2 years ago, and we're still using it now XD cost me £6. Stacey xxx
husky princess
http://www.kisi.co.uk/walkingbelts.php i'd recommend something like this with a long lead as its padded and a bungee section to take some of the jolts etc. they are really comfortable. although you can get cheaper. i'd recommend getting a 'poo bag' pocket added for bags and your house keys though. I paid £25 for mine and she made it so it would fit both me and my partner. As its for jogging/running you really need something which will be central in your body line as otherwise you can be jolted awkwardly. Alex T
When we are out, we use: THIS with one of THESE, if I want Isis out front I use the lead on a longer setting, but if I take our GSD she goes on the shorter setting as she would rather run along side! Tamz
i think with shiloh- and ian did warn about this before i went out i think he associates running with being attached to the bike i dont know why though..he sort of goes into bike mode and pulls really hard like he does when he is on the bike im just glad i took him out with the head collar on otherwise i defo would have been on my arse!! Tamz
i know can you imagine the shame!! i could see people slowing down in their cars aswell looking at us....as if it aint embarassing enough you now need to slow down and gawp at me!! the bike attachment has broken so we are waiting for another one to arrive ian was out with shiloh a few weekends ago and an offlead dog came over on the field where they were and attacked shiloh...he jumped over to the other side of the bike to get out the way and snapped the screw so until that arrives im out running
